For all bookings cancelled 30 days or more before your stay ,Tongariro Lodge will offer a 100% refund.

For bookings cancelled within 30 days, Tongariro Lodge will credit all payments to a future stay at the lodge, valid for 12 months from original booking at no additional charge.

Terms and Conditions

  • 15% New Zealand Government Goods and Service Tax (GST) is included in the rates (above).

  • Children's rate (for children 11 years old and under) is 50% of the dinner, bed & breakfast rate.Under 5 years is free if using the same chalet or Villa.

  • International rates published on this site an approximate guide only. They are updated daily using exchange rates as published by Yahoo! Finance. All charges must be paid to Tongariro Lodge in NZ dollars only.

  • Reservations are confirmed by a 25% deposit on our room and meals package and guided fishing rates. If a reservation is cancelled within 60 days prior to arrival a 25% cancellation fee applies. For reservations cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival a 100% cancellation fee applies.

  • Cancellations have a significant impact due to the nature of our business. We highly recommend our guests purchase cancellation insurance.

  • A 2.5% surcharge will be applied when paying by credit card.

  • Front Desk is open and staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

  • Check in 3.00 p.m. onwards.

  • Daily housekeeping is included in the price.

  • Private bathroom for each unit.
